The St. Elizabeth Seton Liturgical ministry offers quality liturgical services in which we grow in faith and worship God according to the Roman Rite in community with our fellow Catholics.

These ministries include:

Lectors

Lectors study, reflect upon, and proclaim God's Word at Sunday Masses and other liturgical celebrations throughout the year. Lectors are provided with study guides and are scheduled well in advance.  For the current lectors schedule click here.  For email contact:

Ministers of the Eucharist

Ministers of the Eucharist are lay ministers who can serve in two capacities: assist in distribution of the Eucharistic elements (the Body and Blood of Christ) during Eucharistic celebrations in Church.  For the current Eucharistic ministers schedule click here

Altar Servers

Servers are young people and adults who assist the presider at Mass in various ways, and also help with set up and clean up before and after. Training is provided by the Pastor or someone assigned by the Pastor.  For the current alter server schedule click here.

Ministers of Hospitality

Ministers of Hospitality, made up of ushers and greeters, greet and assist parishioners and guests as they enter the Church for worship, and throughout the services. Ushers also assist with the gift procession during the liturgy, and distribute bulletins at the conclusion of Mass.

Arts and Environment

The members of this group assist the Pastor and Coordinator of Liturgical Ministries with the setup and decoration of the worship space for the various seasons and special celebrations of the liturgical year. Work varies from sewing and assembly of banners and other decorations to crafting of special furnishings.

For more information or to volunteer your services for any of these ministries, please contact the office.
